Hello everyone, I’m new here, obviously. I recently read the two main books and was working on getting started soon. Going to start with the 8 week base building, not sure if I want to run as prescribed or swap it to strength work to start instead of SE since I have a lot of strength to build. Or go as written cuz I’ll have plenty of time to build strength after.
Anyway looking for any tips or recommendations you guys may have going forward?

I vote for following the program as written. Try to train for a while exactly as it’s prescribed and feel free to play with it later based on your personal experience. I’d say give it a year and see the magic working.
