I had a great experience at the department PT. I stayed in with all the running (thank you new running shoes) and while the calisthenics were difficult and fuck fuck games were played, I stayed in and put out. Gray man ftw. With that being said I'd like you guys to chime in; KB, Jmadd, Green2Blue, GrouchyJardhead, Aelian, anyone!

From my previous posts you can see I'm running base building with alpha circuits. The department training went as follows

In an extended kind of fun run configuration:
3 miles at about 9min pace
60 push ups
30 leg lifts
30 sit ups
Air squats
Jumping Jacks
As well as hill runs and sprints

This kind of workout is Tuesday/Thursday and possibly Saturdays if I want. With the shape I'm in now, I don't know how great of an idea it would be to go Alpha Circuits with this department PT. I'm thinking stick to the department PT with running on off days and if I don't go to the one on Saturday then do my own calisthenics. I'd love opinions though.
I think I agree with TangoZero's reply, but I'm having a bit of a hard time understanding the question. Do you do the three-mile run, and then the calisthenic sequence, or to you stop and run through that sequence multiple times throughout the run? Do you mind to outline the training week you have in mind with the 2-3 departmental workouts.

By the way and take this with a grain of salt (I've never attempted to join a police force), but I would make getting to all three departmental workouts each week my absolute priority. Having a chance to impress the people making judgments about your fate with you work ethic and dedication is probably an opportunity you don't want to pass up. Also, at least the people running those workouts must think they are good preparation for what lies ahead, so it makes sense to maximize them. Once again, this is coming from a civilian who has never been down this path, so help yourself to disagree.

This. The department training is BY FAR your priority. We can give you ideas on how to supplement your department training if you let us know what you did, but you need to put TB on the back-burner. Show respect for their methodologies. Maybe ask them if they have recommendations on what you should be doing in addition to training with them. Then do that. If I had a trainee that told me he went out on his own the day after and tried to run the same workout but faster, I'd be impressed. This is a tryout, and as I said, your character will get you much farther than your level of fitness. TB will be here after you land the job.

Not saying don't do TB if there's room for it, but it shouldn't be your priority next to doing what the department wants you to do.
