Re: Nick's offical log
So I completely effed up, here. This week was suppose to call for 80% but I did 75% instead because I had my Ebook scrolled ahead. I'm a little peeved at myself for this. I'll just go and adjust on Wednesday. Bummer.

Block 1-Week 2-Day 3
Operator-80%
So since I screwed up the %'s on Monday with the lifts, this definetly was a shock to the system presage, especially with the squats.
Squat: 3x5 at 155lbs
Asst. Pull ups: at 3x8
Bench: 3x5 at 135lbs
Finisher: DB Deadlift with 30lb DBs

Re: Nick's offical log
**Week 2 re-do**. Due to the fact I screwed up percentages last week and then I missed a couple days, I decided to restart week 2.
Block 1-Week 2-Day 1
Operator-80%
Squat: 3x5 - 155lbs
Bench- 3x5 - 135lbs
Asst. Pull ups- 3x8
Finisher: Book stated whatever I wanted so I decided Ys,Ts,Ls. I did 3x10 with two 2.5lbs plates. I haven't done these since high school. I forgot how brutal they were. This might be good for SE?
I also plan to end the evening later with ROMWOD.

Block 1-Week 2-Day 2
General Endurance: 20 minute run.
Notes on GE: I know I am not suppose to but I pushed the envelop a little bit on this one. I'm going to be careful of not doing that to often but sometimes I get that energy boost and you kick into overdrive. I just downloaded a running tracker on my IPhone to help calculate how many miles I run, my distance, etc. It alerted me that my 1 mile mark was 14 minutes and 16 seconds. My goal is to cut that in half overtime.
Body weight: Push ups and Sit ups- 3x10 each.
Notes on body weight: I decided against doing mountain climbers and did the push ups and sit ups in a super set style routine. The book says to perform anyway I want to.
I plan on ending the night with a ROMWOD. These routines are great.

As a not so flexible person, I feel I am going to benefit from these in the future. Especially in my hamstrings and Lower back.Green2Blue wrote:Couldn't agree more.nickgoldma wrote: I plan on ending the night with a ROMWOD. These routines are great.

Re: Nick's offical log
So I am about two days behind on this...
Block 1-Week 2-Day 3 (Thurs)
20m E session
Block 1-Week 2-Day 4 (Fri)
Was suppose to be Operator 80% but wound up going to BJJ since I hadn't been in a few weeks. I got that BJJ itch again!
Black 1-Week 2- Day 5 (Sat)
My plan later today is to make up for Friday's missed Op session and then the scheduled HIC.

Re: Nick's offical log
Basically this week I am playing catch up. A few things this week got in the way of my training. One was a snow storm and I wound up working overnight in the grocery store overnight. After that, I wouldn't going away for the weekend. Anyways, here's my modified week for Operator.
Today: 80% Thurs: 85% and Sat: 90% which is where I am suppose to be this week. After that, I will be back on track. Back to report later.
