I've been thinking about using rucking as part of my E. Getting offered money might have convinced me

Thanks! I view this as a part-time job, that pays fitness instead of money. I clock in, do the work, and clock out.

Speaking of putting the work in...

12/17/2019

Code: Select all

Warmup:
1 TGU each side with:
Bodyweight
8 kg Kettlebell
16 kg Kettlebell
24 kg Kettlebell

Bench: Deadlift: Chinups:
5 x 60 lbs 5 x 145 lbs 5 x TRX Heavy band - around foot
5 x 60 lbs 5 x TRX Heavy band - around foot
5 x 60 lbs 5 x TRV Heavy band - around foot

Putting the band around the foot gives more assistance, as opposed to around the knee. I'm ordering a dip belt, so I can still do LP, even with the assist.

Max Strength

Code: Select all

Bench press: Squat:
5 x 55 5 x 75
5 x 55 5 x 75
10 x 55 10 x 75
Did my TGU progression warm-up, which is one TGU L/R bodyweight, then with each kettlebell I own (8kg, 16kg, 24kg). It wakes the body up, and reminds me of how to move, without wearing me out. Lifts felt strong today.

Unplanned rest day. Hit the metaphorical wall when I got home, and went to bed early.
