Pretty inauspicious start to this block. I started getting weird hip pain on my squats, and basically played around with stance and form every set, but nothing really helped. Then after that, all the benches at the gym were taken for all of my session. I could have worked in with someone, but I decided I really don't feel like doing that every session, so I just tested my overhead press and have decided to go with that this block instead of bench. So:
3/5/17 Basebuilding/Fighter Week 1 MS 1
Squat 45x5, 95x5, 115x5, 135x5, 145x3x5
Press 45x5, 95x3, 115x2, 125x3 (e1rm=132)
Pullups/chins, various grips: 6, 5, 5, 5, 5, 4(30 total)
Hanging Leg Raise 8,8,7

I supersetted the pullups with my warmup sets to save some time while still respecting the 2 min. rule between working sets. Hopefully this hip pain goes away next session, I've done some mobility and foam rolling later in the day. I'm going to cheat a little bit an use a TM of 127 (~95% of my actual max). I haven't pressed in a while so I think I'll adapt to some of my stronger numbers from a couple months ago pretty quickly, and the lower weight of the press vs. the bench might still be easier on me in the long run.
