Note: should have taken the rest day after apex, can tell leg recovery isn’t the best (it’s currently 6/11 here). Will make that my own golden rule from now on. I was feeling good at the time, but I know better than to lift the day after hill sprints, lesson re learned.

Note: Thinking of cutting this block short and starting base building on Tuesday. My gas tank feels great, my runs are still fine, but my recovery is just not as quick at the moment, and a break from the lifting (for the legs more than anything else) might not be a bad idea. The last couple of Airbike sessions, in particularly the power intervals took a few days to recover from. Or maybe I just need to space days out more. Maybe it’s because I’m 40 now lol. I’ll think about it over the next few days. I am due for a bb, I intended to wait until the start of the year but my legs and knees I feel may need the break. The alternative is to do more boxing work and lay off the HIC on the legs. We’ll see.
