Great training Bark. Glad to see the ECBBs are sticking in there, they are "fun".

Stealing this from T-Nation article.

Arnold Schwarzenegger started his career on a full body routine and he still recommends it for new trainees. The program he used was named "The Golden Six":

The Golden Six
1. Barbell Squat - 4 x10
2. Wide-Grip Barbell Bench Press - 3x10
3. Chin-Up - 3 x As many reps as you can for 3 sets
4. Behind-the-Neck Overhead Press - 4x10
5. Barbell Curl - 3x10
6. Bent Knee Sit-Up - 3-4xfailure

He recommended doing them three times a week on alternating days with no weight training performed on rest days. Because of the low volume employed, this type of full body routine is ideal for beginners and those solely looking for strength gains.

It's crazy how much good information Arnold was able to put together or just intuit before the era of scientific journals, the net, etc. I'd take his plans over 95% of the 'research-proven' methods you see everywhere.

Agree. He was hard worker and also not stupid at all. Except maybe his choice of women. But does that matter after all?

Oh man. I remember reading a quote from Linda Hamilton about Arnold sexually assaulting/groping her identical twin (whom he'd mistaken for her) on the Terminator 2 set. And in this interview she was basically laughing it off (or pretending to, of course) as 'boys will be boys.'

Different times.
