Rower:
20 minutes, 3.5k meters
Just a light recovery row followed up by 30 minutes or so of stretching. My mobility issues really hinder me in BJJ. It’s a major target of mine right now.

Notes:
My back is still hurting pretty good from competition. Lift went well though. I enjoyed the simplicity of it. I’m used to 90 minute workouts so a 30 minute one was refreshing haha.

Did about an hour of raking (man that’s harder than you think), then went on a 20 minute run. I don’t think I’ve run in almost a year.

Re: G2B’s 3rd Log
Last week was a loss. I had to build a fence and move hay all week. Never marry a farmer lol. This week I’m out of town at SRO training. I brought some dumbbells though. Doing some running and dumbbell workouts.
I’ll restart next week.

Re: G2B’s 3rd Log
Alright, I’m back. Restarting the cycle since I only did one day. Had a ton of physical labor one week, then was out of town at SRO school the next week. I took some dumbbells with me. I ran then did a dumbbell workout most days. Lunges, overhead press, etc. I was impressed with the versatility of just a couple pairs of dumbbells.
Back at it today.

-I’m exhausted. Switching back and forth so many times between days and nights is taking a toll on me. The lefts felt well enough though.

Re: G2B’s 3rd Log
Currently lifting 5x/wk and doing BJJ 3x/wk. Sprints 1x/wk. I have my first BJJ tournament in a few weeks, and a strongman competition in a couple months. Doing both of those concurrently isn’t ideal, but I also think they compliment each other over vs only doing one of them.
I keep failing every time I try to keep this log update, but I might give it another shot starting next week.

Re: G2B’s 3rd Log
Dislocated a rib rolling last week. Had to drop out of the BJJ tournament and my strongman competition. Since I have to sort of reset my training it’s probably a good time to get my logging back up and running,Green2Blue wrote:Currently lifting 5x/wk and doing BJJ 3x/wk. Sprints 1x/wk.
