Operator Week 1
Back Squat 335 lbs
Bench Press 225lbs
WPU 25lbs

So after 3 sets of squats I felt some intense soreness in my legs. It's in the same spot as I would feel it if I laid off squats for a while. I had thought the front squats (which is what I've been using for several months) would have covered me, but no. So tomorrow I might be fine or I might need to scramble the week's schedule a bit.

Monday 1/10
Operator Week 1

Worked through the leg soreness, doing minimal sets for this first week. Also lowered my squat weight for week 1 to 315. Starting at 335 was going to get .... unpleasant later. I might add it back the next block.

The one upside is that I've gotten the tough stuff for the week over by Tuesday. Just lifting, jogging, and rest until the weekend.

HIC #5 x5

So, I'd be doing my 600 resets using the protocol for HIC 3, but running on a treadmill. But today at lunch I was looking through the book and saw that (I take it?) you should be using #5 to do resets on the treadmill. At any rate, that's what I did today.
