Re: Barkadion TB Logs
Zulu HT is done! I really like this block. Into deload week now. It ill be 1.5 weeks for me. Taking my twins to countryside. I will be active with hikes, walks, swimming. I am thinking about OP option for the next I/CAT block. Not quite sure yet. OP Pro? Don't know yet. Any suggestions are appreciated. Well.. if anyone is reading this log

I like OP DUP for the speed work that is in there, I feel like after Zulu HT it could be a good transition, it’s like a hypertrophy/ speed hybrid of OP IA. Op Pro is also fun to work with, working up to the daily double or triple for the given lift/day.
Either way you won’t be disappointed.
Re: Barkadion TB Logs
Right.. I am looking into different OP choices and trying to understand if I’ll be able to handle all conditioning. OP DUP seems like little too much. OP Pro might be more manageable. KB says in the book you can do Dl only in it’s dedicated day once a week for OP Pro. That option leaves you with one main exercise and one secondary and maybe one light set of DL (optional). Frankly do not know..Adski wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 7:35 amBarkadion wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 11:05 pm Zulu HT is done! I really like this block. Into deload week now. It ill be 1.5 weeks for me. Re: Barkadion TB Logs
With OP DUP you can just DL the one day, same with Op Pro. I did that with both templates. And I cut the squat away on DL day, but that’s just what works for me. I replaced the DL with pull ups on OP pro and am with a sandbag lift with DUP.Barkadion wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:17 amRight.. Op pro imo is great as the (percentages besides the main 2-3 rep lift) are very low. DUP I like mainly due to the speed work as well as the variety. Both have their good points.
My own personal opinion, I think you would enjoy op pro, either way which ever one you don’t do now, you could do in your next ICAT cycle. I hope this helps.
I get caught up in decisions like these all the time, usually in deload weeks lol. Too much thinking time haha.
