Haven't tracked workouts in a while.. then got an injury.. Already.
Wore cheap trainers and went on numerous weekends with the OTC with wrong sized boots. Not to mention i increased mileage way too much too fast.
Been a very irritating past 2 months. Lost a lot of motivation because of this.

I'm fairly certain its due to me being an overpronator and increasing mileage too fast. Seems like it's "Tibialis Posterior Pain", exact point of pain and accurate symptoms.

Gonna act now and start daily stretching, anti-inflammatory cream and icing. Want to get back in the game so bad.

I didn't heed warnings of increasing mileage to fast and i paid for it - at least i will learn from my mistakes.

Apart from that, PT scores in SE coming along nicely.
Obviously my original goal isn't really a possibility now.

Aiming to spend the rest of my time at university (2.5 years) to get fitness up to a high level, go into the parachute regiment then assess my path from there.

TO ANYONE READING THIS - DON'T BE STUBBORN. INJURIES ARE A REAL THREAT WHEN DOING PROPER TRAINING. I FUCKED UP.

Honestly, i'm glad i had an injury this soon in my journey as i'd rather have it now so i can learn from these mistakes and take this experience with me moving forward.

First 3 months of University i was pretty inconsistent with training (didn't track any workouts here apart from the first few), just drinking all the time and being lazy. That initial honeymoon period is over now and i know what i'm doing and ready to be consistent.

I'm the only one to blame for this and it's disappointing but i'll take this, adapt and learn from it.
