Notes:
After that last 400m is started to feel some discomfort in my left shin. I actually recognized this as I have felt this before. I discovered it was a combination of poor foot striking and my shoes being very old. Going to be shopping around for some new running shoes as the ones I have now are over 2 and a half years old. So I decided to stop before I caused any actual injury.

Also, I started with only two sets of 600m because I am starting to work my way up. During BB I only did 400m but I know that I need to push myself some more. I remember the first time trying 600m max effort that I could barely complete it. The 2 sets I did today definitely took all the gas out of my tank but I could feel an improvement.

This is the first day where I haven't felt good. Not about my lifts but I actually feel like I have a bit of a stomach bug. The program again shows how well it can work on your off days though. I sucked it up and went to the gym and knocked out all my lifts. Other then basically forgetting how to squat properly everything went smooth.

No excuses, but I don't know what happened. Felt like I was running a good pace but ended up being really slow. I just got told that I have to do my PFT next week and I haven't ran a PFT pace 1.5mi in a good while. I'm going to give it a try again Saturday and see what happens. I'm hoping it was a combination between the higher than normal winds and not being familiar with a faster pace for 1.5mi. I definitely had gas left in the tank after I was done.

Did my PFT. Ran a slow and terrible 13:08. I got it out of the way and passed but that is definitely going to be something I will need to keep an eye on. Hopefully after a couple of cycles of black my speed will start going up. Only 3 weeks into continuation so it is what it is. Its an easy week so I'm going to add an extra day of recovery in and just not push myself. Ready to go full steam ahead in conditioning next week.

Crushed the gym today. Felt really good. On a side note I really like doing weighted pull ups. There is something about strapping that weight belt around you that makes you feel so good.

Finished out the week well. Didn't do much conditioning at all on this easy week as I was super tired and really just wanted to catch up on rest. On top of that the weather was awful and I didn't make it outside at all. Ready to go back to 70% next week and ready to get back at conditioning.
