Finished my first block of Operator I/A and don't think I'll ever switch to another template. On average I took the full two days in between each MS session. I felt more solid on my squats, coming off a Fighter template where you don't hit Strength as frequently. I think more frequency is very important with squats.
Have about three months to train for a backcountry hunt. Plan on loaded rucks in mountainous terrain, working up to 120 in my pack and would like to be comfortable rucking a full 6-8 hours by September.
Plan to stay on Op I/A and keep the S&S and LSS runs included for my E along with my loaded rucks. HIC will just be a loaded sled/prowler day every other week.
For my MS cluster I was thinking of using front squat, weighted pull up, power clean. Finishers when possible.
Any input regarding the MS cluster?

Your MS cluster looks fine, frankly I think you'd be okay with either Front or Back squats if you wanted. The only advice I have is to make rucking the bulk of your E work, like 70-75% of your weekly E sessions.

I think your cluster is bang on. I like the idea of FSQ instead of BSQ for your particular objective. Have you considered Deadlifting in place of the cleans every 3rd session? Just a little food for thought.

Cluster looks good, but I do like the idea of subbing in deads for PCs every 3rd (or 4th, 5th, 6th?) I/A session.

Just thought about switching off the back squats and deads to keep the overall volume down on lifting since I will be taxing all other areas of my body a lot more with the long rucks. If I decide to go that route I might just do a hang clean instead of power clean then hit the deads every third..Aelian wrote:I think your cluster is bang on.
