Took the wife out of town for a couple days so my training schedule got all messed up. Right now I'm technically in my deload week but i have a couple makeup HICs to do.
Today I did Hill Sprints. I did a shorter distance than I usually do, but more reps. I liked this method a lot more. It's closer to the TB2 prescribed distance.
Tomorrow as a HIC I'm hiking up a steep incline with my hard plates on.
After that I'll continue with my normal deload protocol.
After this deload I'll finally be up to my standard TM of 90%. After two long mini-blocks at lower TMs (80 and 85%) I'm ready for real weight. I'm still not allowing myself to add sets or assistance work until after this block. At that time I'll be officially done with this extended deload "reset" and full steam ahead toward some very specific goals.

Deload week sort of happened, but not as planned. Ended up out of town, being sick, etc.
Starting the LAST mini-block of my 3 month reset period. I'm finally back up to a 90% TM but I'm still not doing any extra sets, accessories, finishers, etc. until next block.

While this is almost entirely opinion based, I'd agree to a point. I'd agree x10 when it comes to being on the black/blue side of things instead of the green.
